That Gory Animated Movie Ending That Stays With Viewers
Out of all the adult-oriented animated films I have ever watched, no other has remained with me as much as the fear-filled finale of a graphically gory and deeply subversive film from 2022 Unicorn Wars.
Back in the year 2015, this Spanish filmmaker developed a grim, melancholy and often savage world with a few small , desolate hints of hope.
Although The Unicorn Wars seems like it came from a desire to advance the medium further, the director explained that it was more an effort to express a universal, cross-cultural theme about “the shared root of all wars.”
